Oh Buzznet family!! Why have I so brutally lost touch with thee? I blame facebook.

Paradise Valley...doesn't feel like paradise to me. Paradise Valley High School, Paradise Valley Community College. I'm attending both.

I'm thinking seriously of suggesting Green Day's "Welcome to Paradise" for my graduation song. It would be way too appropriate.

So how is everyone??

It's been awhile since I've blogged here!

I have met the man of my dreams and I have fallen in love. Just when I least expected it. The story? We used to know each other. We used to have play dates when we were little kids. We met up again after 10 years at the Carriage House in Pueblo. I had gone to swing dance with a couple of buddies, and there he was. First chair saxophone in the jazz band. Tall, dark, masculine build. And the greenest and sweetest eyes I had ever seen in my life. I had to talk to him. I was drawn to him.

It didn't take much for me to fall for Daniel. I was boycotting relationships at the time, but we went on one date and he took my breath away.

And that was that =) He's my Romeo.

AHHH! I MISS BUZZNET.

My photography suffers. I have been so ridiculously busy moving, packing, unpacking, getting ready for school, now doing homework and trying to get ready for college. It's such an ugly process. I would love to get out and start shooting again. But in this extreme heat? Nope.

I'll keep it short. I'd hate to bore you.

MUCH LOVE.

xoxo

Everyone having a good St. Patrick's Day?? I know I am! I'm wearing my green Flogging Molly tshirt today. It makes me happy.

I have a photo to post! Still-life for my photography class. I'll do that tonight when I have my own computer.

Down time is terrible. I hate it when I'm not busy, it drives me insane! I'm really, really bored right now. I still have an hour before rehearsal.

I love all of the green floating around this place right now. Speaking of green, does anyone else here like Green Day?? I'm so excited for their new album to come out, and I really need someone to be excited with me!!

I've been thinking about Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy all day. I've always referred to him as my favorite leprechuan. For those of you that have not met him, he's only about 5'4". He's such a tiny little guy!

Do some meditation of some kind today. You will feel so great afterwards.

Don't drink too much green beer. Have fun though. And definately have a mug for me since I'm too young to get it.

Fall in love with the weather!!! It's so sunny and gorgeous where I'm at!

Aspire something new. Even if it's something small. For me it's a new handbag.

Pray for my friend Linda. She may have lukemia.

Don't get married today. It will anger my friend Amy.

Pinch everyone who isn't wearing green!! PINCH THEM REALLY HARD!

Just a note: I have new favorite Buzznet users! Five of 'em! In a band called Colin Healy and the Jetskis. Look up Colin Healy and the Jetskis on Buzznet. http://colinhealyandthejetskis.buzznet.com/user Check out their myspace too and listen to their music. They are awesome!!! And then add them and say hello. They're sweet!

Love you guys.

Hello world.

I tried to post a blog full of updates a couple of weeks ago but the whole thing got deleted when I tried to post it. So this is my second attempt.

It's one of those days, guys. I've had significant mood changes all day, and I really don't know what's going on right now. I'm a little bit sleep deprived, and I'm enduring one of my 12 hour days which is always a bust. Oh, about that:

I'm in PCC's musical entitled The Travelin' Show, dialogue and music by James Galloway. So here's how my days happen on Tuesday and Thursday:

8am-10:45am PHOTOGRAPHY
11:00am-12:15pm ACTING
Lunch with my buddies at the cafe on campus from 12:30-1:45.
2:00-3:15 INTERMEDIATE NEWSWRITING
Buzznet time in the library from 3:30-4:15.
4:30-6:00 MUSICAL REHEARSAL PART I, MUSIC
6:00-8:00 MUSICAL REHEARSAL PART II, ACTING.

12 hours on campus. I can pretty much feel more energy drain from my body every minute. Wow, it's amazing what we go through to squeeze in things we love.

We have a pretty gorgeous Paul DiGiovanni look-a-like here at PCC. He just walked past me. *swoon* He wears sunglasses indoors, which normally bothers me. But I can get over it. He's just so pretty!

I'm waiting for my good friend Amy to come and meet me here in the library before we go to rehearsal together. She's awesome! And she just joined buzznet. http://amysyrup.buzznet.com/user Add her if you don't have her.

I'm going to see The Academy Is... next Monday on their wonderful little acoustic tour! Yay! [along with This Providence, who I love very dearly.]

Fall Out Boy. April 14th. The Fillmore Auditorium. Denver, Colorado. I will be there. Will you?

I've still been posting photos from my photography class on Buzznet. Three of them are going in the art show over at PCC! I'm stoked! You can see 'em, they're in my photography gallery in my photos.

I have a giant paper to write for my psych class that's due tomorrow morning. Better get on that.

Smile. Even if your face doesn't feel like moving.

Talk to a random geek about world of warcraft sometime in the next few days.

Go to bed early tonight. It might pay off tomorrow.

Create an inside joke or two among friends. Or bring up an old one.

Call someone you haven't spoken to in awhile.

I'm getting my driver's license on Wednesday. About time, right????

I'll post pictures in a journal of my new car when I get it in two weeks.

I love you, people of Buzznet.

xoxo

<3Audrey

Vicky Christina Barcelona.

A realization is an interesting experience. A certain thought comes to mind and one begins to wonder why this particular moment was just right for such a thought to take over the mind. I've had a lot of realizations lately. Here are a few of them, in a nutshell.

-Good people still live in the world.
-One sweet person can turn someone's day around.
-Laughter is the best cure for boredom.
-Laughter is the ultimate cure-all.
-I should've taken film photography this semester.
-I really miss competitive acting.
-Little things that can bring smiles to our faces are the things that make our lives worthwhile.
-People who always insist that they're right are the people who are the most unsure of themselves.

I learned how to develop film in a darkroom today. My digital photography professor had to be somewhere and wasn't able to stay for class, so I ventured over to the art gallery where a film photography class was taking place. Considering that I am more interested in film and that I have one of the best film cameras and the best lenses for it that money can buy, I should have taken film photography rather than digital. Then it turned out the professor was a childhood friend of my mother's. He knows my whole family. Most of them don't like him.

My sister and I plan on taking my father to see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button on Friday. He's very sensitive about things that he can relate to. Forrest Gump, The Green Mile, and The Notebook drove him to tears. This one will too.

I love the smell of tee tree oil. It's just strong enough to tickle the inside of your nose, but it's not overpowering.

I cannot wait to get back to Paris.

Have a terrific evening. Don't forget to enjoy yourself. :)

xoxo

Everyone hates Mondays. People spend Tuesdays getting over Mondays. Wednesdays are usually spent getting plans together for the weekend. Then there's Thursday. Friday begins the weekend. Saturday is the ultimate goof-off 'cause we can day of the week. And Sundays are boring. Thursday just sits in the middle. Like the kid you see in the gas station when there's no one else there. He's buying M&Ms and Gatorade and you say hello, and he says it back. Then you just kind of look at each other. And look at the floor. But you have nothing at all to say to him. THURSDAY IS THE AWKWARD KID! I've finally figured out the meaning of Thursday. Oh, pride.

I have began posting my assignments from my photography class. The one of the furnace...yeah. There will be more assignments that I'll probably post next week. But I took some cool stuff along the way that I won't be graded on. I'll post that too.

I have these really annoying two hours between my acting class and my newswriting class. Buzznet, thanks for keeping me occupied.

It has been officially decided that in June I'll pack up all my shiz and move to Scottsdale, Arizona. Rumor has it (heard from Mom, who overexaggerates everything) that my dad is going to start working for a company over there so that's where we'll be living. I told my mom that we need to go shopping for "booty shorts" to wear when it's 120 degrees outside. The heat is going to be an obstacle. But it will be really nice to get out of the cold, as much as I like Colorado. I've lived here all my life and now I'm leaving. I absolutely knew it would happen eventually, but I thought it would be on my own terms. Pueblo has a wonderful little flavor of its own. I'm going to miss the character. I'm worried about aquainting with people in Scottsdale. I'm worried that those kids will be all money and will have no substance. I will definately keep an open mind, don't get me wrong. I have been pretty postive about this whole thing overall. But it's just a worry lingering in the back of my mind.

The kids and I are going to the FOB show on April 14th. It's scary to think that it will probably be the last show I ever attend in Denver. I'm getting chills already.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is really good. I have a goal to make it to Tinseltown to see both new Kate Winslet films this weekend. She is my favorite actress.

Thanks for being there to listen to my life during the two hours I have between my acting class and my newswriting class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It's an awkward day, but please enjoy it. I love you, Buzznet.

Well, this is my first journal since I've been officially governed by the Obama administration. I missed the inauguration. Had class.

I've learned that architectural photographs are not my strong point. In my photography class this morning we had to roam around campus and take architectural photographs. No one did very well, and when we showed our stuff to the professor she didn't seem impressed at all. This campus has got to be the absolute worst place to take architectural photographs. There are trees everywhere, and they aren't in places that allow you to use them to your advantage. They're just in the way. So it was tough.

Last night I started thinking about something. I've been a little salty all day from it. It has finally hit me that I'm getting older, and in a year I'll be on my own. As I've gotten older and less dependent on my parents, they have grown less dependent on me. You see a mother or father and their child, and they fit together. A baby belongs with its parents, and the parents have the need to be there for their children. But when the child grows up, he or she is more independent, and the real idea of parenthood and the constant need to be there every second for the child sort of withers. I thought about it, and I really realized that soon I'll have my own life, my parents and my siblings will have their own lives, and that's the way it will be. But somehow I feel that I will live my life alone, that once I leave my parents' house I will be all by myself. I'm not one of those people who makes friends. There are some kids (like my brother and my sister) that people are just automatically drawn to. I am not one of those people. I make somewhat of an effort, and I make a lot of acquaintances, but have never been able to get really close to anyone and keep it that way. I have had "best friends" here and there but they sort of seem to come and go. I'm not one of those people (again, like my sister) who has one best friend that she's close to, they'll always be really close, they talk every single day and share their lives and that's the way it is. I feel like the only person that really, truly knows me is myself. And I feel like that's the way it will always be. Some people (like my sister) have someone that they belong to, or belong with. I don't. Boyfriends? Well there are the ones that I've driven away and the ones that only talk to me in my pathetic little daydreams. I feel like that's the way it will always be for me. Soon I am going to live alone, and eventually I'm going to die alone. I never looked at my life from that angle before, and I've realized that I will only ever have myself. I'm trying to bring myself to be okay with that, and it's really really hard. I find it easy to pretend that nothing's bothering me and I can always act as if I'm comfortable with myself and that I'm okay with everything. People will always come and go for me, like they always have, and that's just the way it is.

Have a great day. Hope the sun is shining where you're at.

xoxo

(I didn't even get through half of them, but they looked good so I took a picture.) They had nuts in them.

My digital photography class starts tomorrow! I'm very excited. It is at 8am, which is a bummer, but I'll get over it. It's going to be a great class. I'll keep you guys updated and I'll post all of my assignments. I think I'll get some pretty ones. :) I swore to myself that I'd keep this short, so TTYL!

WE NEED ONE! The arts are so underrated in America, and it needs to change. They have gotten roughly 83,000 signatures so far. Please navigate over there and support the arts!! Thanks to Joe Trohman for letting me know about this. :)

I'm sitting in the library. I've had my acting class, and I have my newswriting class at 2:00. It is now 1:26. It's a super sunny beautiful day in Pueblo! And warm enough to lift the spirits of everyone like me who are waiting for winter to melt off!

American Idol premieres tonight, OMG.

So, I saw The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and I loved it. It's a long movie, but it really didn't feel long for me because I was so into the story. They needed that extra hour to tell this story, had it been done any other way it would not have been as good. Note particularly the scene in Paris after Benjamin pays his visit to Daisy. He describes her getting hit by a car, but he did it in a very cool and unique way. He mentions what happened with everyone who had any kind of connection to the accident. He then uses a lot of "If only..." statements to make his point and let us know that Daisy had been hit by the taxi. Incredible scene. Very, very, very well done. And OMG! Props to Cate Blanchett for that thick Louisiana accent she used in the film! The gal is English, and she got that southern accent down PERFECTLY! It was so believable and sounded so authentic. It's a hard accent to do, and she did it so well. Brad Pitt was also unbelievable in this film. (and, being myself I must mention how gorgeous he is! He's about the hottest blonde hunk of mancake I have ever seen! And I'm normally not into blondes.) So now that I'm done being degrading, perverted and disgusting, go see this movie! I think you'll be glad you did.

More coming tonight. Including a picture of a huge stack of vegan pancakes I made the other day. With maple syrup all over them. MMM.....

On Christmas my cousin Stacy made what are called Italian Wedding Cake Martinis. I would probably give both my big toes for one right now. Vanilla Vodka and Amaretto Disarronno. With sugar on the rim. Have one for me!

I should go before I'm late to class. I'll catch up with you all later!!

xoxo
